PS3 vs Xbox

Okay guys. The time has come, to separate the facts from the fiction. My question is:
~Which is better, PS3 or Xbox 360?
-I am looking into buying one of these in the future. Stuff and games I like to play:
--skyrim
--red dead redemption
--fallout
--not huge fan of online gaming
--love good graphics
--portal
--Assassin's creed.
--Not big in war and violence.

So, In your opinion, which one is the best?

I've only played the 360 but, I'd say it depends do you want more detailed games or more scenery. 360 usually has about average details but, more world based on what I've seen about Splinter cell double agent.

I'd probably go with the ps3 even though it has some draw backs with certain maps of some games and I've played on the psone and ps2 as well as the original xbox. and I'd have to say the ps2 beats them all. Pc for the win however because it beats them all in every aspect because you have very few limits to what you can do with the game and it's engine.


But again it all depends on what you want limited more, details or game play.
If you are okay with limited details 360, if you want good details and don't mind limited gameplay ps3.

I'd say PS3. My brothers have owned both, and the Xbox was just a little bit worse graphic wise.
